What personal data do we collect and why do we collect it?

ZONK collects personal data to improve the user experience on the ZONK platform. The personal data collected through contact forms includes:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number

To send a message through the contact form, it is necessary to provide consent by checking the box indicating acceptance of the Privacy Policy.

Online Transactions

ZONK does not process any online orders. However, the ZONK platform is protected using advanced security through SSL certification (https), provided by Comodo Inc, USA. Any information transmitted to the ZONK website is stored on its own servers. The servers are purchased and maintained by the company ROMARG. ROMARG is the largest web hosting company in ROMANIA, using high technological standards for storing and securing your information.

ZONK does not store data about your health.

Through its website, ZONK uses technical tools for performance and user behavior analysis, such as Google Analytics and tools for promoting company services through paid Google AdWords advertisements.

The ZONK platform is built on the WordPress CMS platform. Thus, ZONK operates by installing and configuring certain modules for specific sections of the website. These modules are developed by certain IT companies and are made available with specific licenses. The modules used may store data about user behavior and/or certain personal data. These are stored in a secure environment on the servers of the respective companies, and ZONK does not have access to this information. The modules that may collect personal data on the ZONK website are:

Comments

The ZONK website does not allow the display or posting of comments except in the BLOG section/page. The information required to post a comment on the ZONK platform is: Name, Email address, Website, and Comment. The email address is not published on the page and will be stored only in the website’s database, accessible only by ZONK employees. If you mistakenly place a comment and wish to have it deleted, please contact us at dataprotection@zonk.ro, and we will delete your comment within 24 hours.

Furthermore, ZONK does not allow its users to build a personal profile that may contain personally identifiable information. If we add this option in the future, we will specify the necessary regulations.

Media

The ZONK website does not allow the uploading of media files.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images that include embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Website visitors can download and extract all location data from images on the site.

Contact Forms

The ZONK online platform provides users with a contact form, namely the one available at https://www.zonk.ro/contact/ in Romanian or the one available in English at https://www.zonk.ro/en/contact/. These forms transmit your information to us through a secure environment and are only accessible to authorized personnel (ZONK employees or IT collaborators for security and web maintenance services).

Information received through the above-mentioned forms is stored for a period of 1 year and is not used for marketing purposes and/or distributed to third parties. To delete the information transmitted to us as a message, please send a request to dataprotection@zonk.ro

This data is collected anonymously and strictly refers to user behavior, the pages they visit, products viewed, user location (city, county/state, country, continent), and/or the gender or age group of users.

With Whom Do We Share Your Data

The personal data entered on the ZONK online platform is not shared with third parties except for the Newsletter subscription system. We use this personal data only for internal statistics, to improve your experience, or to notify you of promotional offers and/or marketing campaigns, with your prior consent.

ZONK does not share your data with the company’s partners. By default, the WordPress platform does not share personal data with any third party.

The Newsletter system (subscription to news/promotional offers/publications) used by ZONK is MailChimp, owned by the company: The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308 USA. The information required for newsletter subscription is Name and Email Address. This information is not stored on the ZONK website server but on the MailChimp server. When completing the subscription form, the information is transmitted from the ZONK website to the secure MailChimp server. This information is not shared with third parties or individuals, and only ZONK employees or collaborators have access to MailChimp.

How Long We Keep Your Data

Personal data from contact forms is stored on the ZONK server for 1 year from the date of receipt via email when completing the form. Analytical data (Google Analytics, Google AdWords) is stored for a period of 1 year from the date of receipt, only for statistical purposes and to improve our platform.

Your Rights Regarding Your Data

If you have an account or have left comments on this website, you can request to receive an export file of the personal data we hold about you, including all the data you have provided to us. Also, you can ask us to delete all the personal data we hold about you. These do not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. Where We Send Your Data

Personal data sent to ZONK through the online platform https://www.zonk.ro is not sent outside or within the European Union. ZONK does not share this data with third parties, except authorized entities such as the web hosting company maintaining the ZONK online platform server or authorized individuals in the IT industry working on improving our website.

Also, we assure you that the ZONK online platform is committed to the constant improvement of its security systems to always keep up with changes and technologies in the online environment.

What Procedures We Have in Place for Data Security Breach

In case of unauthorized access to personal data stored by ZONK, there are internal and external procedures in place to resolve any case as quickly as possible. Thus, any unauthorized access to the https://www.zonk.ro website will be met with email notifications to the administrators and owners of the ZONK platform, and they will initiate internal procedures to identify unauthorized access, block it if the access or attack is ongoing, and start external procedures involving contacting the hosting company and/or legal resolution bodies (ANSPDCP and Romanian Police).

From Which Third Parties We Receive Data

The ZONK online platform receives statistical data about its users from 2 external processors, namely Google Analytics and Google AdWords. Google Analytics sends data and provides ZONK employees or collaborators with its statistical analysis platform of user behavior and preferences on ZONK. Thus, we can improve the services we offer and provide you with the products you need in the shortest possible time.

The second external processor that collects and sends us data about ZONK users is Google AdWords, the platform for promoting the company’s services on the Google search engine. The data transmitted by Google AdWords does not contain personal identification elements of ZONK platform users, only analytical information about user behavior or how they respond to certain ads distributed on the Google search engine.
