Custom WordPress Development

WordPress is the most popular CMS (content management system) for web page development. Over 40% of global websites are built using WordPress, offering preset system options as well as advanced modules that not only define the look of the pages but also their functionalities.

We specialize in creating complex websites based on WordPress for medium-sized, large, and multinational corporations. Our team is capable of using WordPress technology to prepare even the most advanced websites or web platforms.

WordPress Leads the Web to New Horizons

WordPress is an extremely capable and structurally advanced system. It offers various themes and extensions (modules) that modify the functionality of the website. At the core of any WordPress site or application is a MySQL database and the PHP language.

Our PHP developers and MySQL specialists create themes and modules or modify their features to ensure that the page meets the client’s requirements.

The Technical Process of a WordPress Development Project

Initial Documentation and Consultations

The first step in the WordPress development process involves defining the objective of the website, which is crucial to ensuring the validity of the final result. We always start with this step, as it is crucial for all the following steps. Often, clients prepare a plan in which they present the most important features of their future website or even define its content, appearance, and the content of individual web pages.

It is important that parameters such as the target audience of the website, its update frequency, and the vision for its future growth are also defined in this stage. Therefore, our task in this phase is to gather all the necessary information from the client. We organize meetings and periodic consultations, resulting in the development of a site structure with the desired design and functionalities specific to your industry.

Content Structure Definition

Step 2 involves defining the website’s business model and preparing its content map. Together with the client, we decide how the content will be displayed and where key elements are located. We determine the hierarchy of the text and estimate the size of the main content elements.

At this stage, we develop a general concept for any multimedia content and determine the presentation format—whether it should be included as an attachment or embedded directly on the page, or if, for example, a discussion with the support department could be possible in video or text format only. These decisions not only det

Prototype

In this stage, we create a prototype for the visual and administrative aspects of the website, made in Figma or Adobe XD. The prototype is shared with the client, who can review it in real-time, and upon acceptance, we begin the implementation in the development environment on the server. Also, in this stage, the graphics needed for the development process are created using professional software such as Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop.

Backend Development

Backend development is the job of our programmers. The backend interacts with the database, manages the business structure, and generates all the views that the website user sees. Of course, since we are using WordPress, all the standard elements have already been implemented, but we still need to build a functional, cohesive mechanism tailored to each client. It is also possible that, at this stage, we may need to develop certain key functionalities specifically for your business.

Frontend Development

Stage number 5 involves the development of the visual elements that are truly noticed by website visitors. Here, we customize the text, the way modules are displayed, media content, advanced functionalities, and how the site is displayed on different devices (such as smartphones) and in different web browsers.

Testing

To ensure the quality of web solutions, in addition to the stages involving direct communication with the client, information gathering, preparation, and prototyping implementation, we also have a testing stage. In this step, we not only test the correct functioning of the code and whether the site displays correctly on different browsers and devices. We also test the user experience on the site itself, as well as on its administration panel.

All tests are carried out by us, with our client providing final feedback on functionalities, design, and administration mode. As this is a pre-launch stage, we test all possible scenarios in the User-Software relationship to ensure that the product will perform ideally at any time.

Launch

After completing the testing phase and resolving all code or design errors, your project is ready to be launched. We will transfer the files and the site’s database to your server and make the final adjustments specific to a live website. Even though the project is completed, after the launch, we will monitor its performance and how it behaves online. We will also collect user feedback for future versions of the website.

Our WordPress development team is always ready

They are the ones who coordinate the entire project activity, constantly analyzing the project’s current status and always adjusting resources based on the complexity of the web solution and the challenges of the WordPress development process that arise along the way. They use agile project management methods such as Scrum or Kanban and are the first ones to stay in touch with you.

They are individuals who can adapt client requirements to the capabilities and limitations of WordPress. They are adept at working with clients and serve as “translators” of the technical language used by programmers. Our designers contribute to ensuring the cohesion of the website and apply their expertise to the final design of the product.

MySQL developers ensure that the databases used by WordPress to display the website and its content function correctly and do not cause issues during site loading. They also handle resource optimization to prevent problems that may arise with larger websites.

PHP is a programming language designed specifically for generating websites and creating web applications. Thanks to our PHP developers, we can create highly sophisticated and advanced WordPress sites. They can leverage many of the advanced capabilities of WordPress and can develop new extensions (plugins) or modify existing ones.

Our front-end developers are the ones who will implement the design approved by you in the pages and functionalities of the website. They will ensure that each element is displayed correctly and that graphic elements do not overlap or are altered on different screen sizes, such as on mobile phones or tablets.
